Hello. had to get that depressing enters off here. I got a tablet laptop! I'll defnetly be posting more. I'm so hot night now. I Keep hitting my screen with my wrist so it cancels whatever I'm writing out. ha ha My stupid cat is laying on the cord. and now I have the hiccups. did you Know that... cats have 24 wiskers? 12 on each side. yeah. oh and happy Birthday to me! ha ha. I got to take the SAT's. And I dyed my hair. dark red with blond highlights. sexy, huh? ha ha

Damn, Another day of school. I’m sure it won't matter if I sleep a little more...no. I got to get to school. Stupid car pool is waiting for me.
I pull myself up from my cocoon of blankets and sit there, trying to open my saggy eyes. I hear some voices upstairs, one my dad's, another was my neighbor Jodi’s (why is she here?), also there's Tom's, who is like my second dad. There is another deep voice among them, but I don't think I’ve heard it before. Curious, I crawl out of my bed and drag my feet up the never ending stairs. I get to the top, and see my dad leaning on the couch talking to a police officer. Jodi is sitting on the loveseat, and Tom is standing beside the window. Jodi looks up and I see her blood-shot eyes. I look at Tom, who is frowning. A million questions start drowning my thoughts;
Did one of Jodi's kids go missing? No...Why is Tom here?
Did something happen to Alicia? No...
Did my cat die?
My dad looks at me. He seems like a part of him had fallen apart.
"Emily," he says and grabs my hand, "come here. I need to...talk to you."
He pulls me over to the couch he was leaning on, and sits me on his lap.
"Last night...your mother..." tears start rushing down his face, “ passed away."
The shock had hit me faster than lightning could hit an umbrella. I start balling and hug my dad, afraid that he was going to leave me also.
WHAT?! How could this happen?! She was getting better! She was fine when she went to bed! Oh my God this has to be a dream! WAKE UP, MEILY! WAKE UP!
